Playing in extremely windy conditions during Saturday’s second round of the Olympia Fields Country Club Invitational, the UNC men’s golf team combined to shoot a score of 7-over-par for the round–but still managed to move up five spots on the leaderboard to fourth place overall.

UNC’s round was the third best of the day, behind only Baylor (+1) and Oklahoma State (+5).

Through two rounds, Austin Hitt, Austin Greaser and Ryan Burnett are tied in 19th place on the individual leaderboard as each player has a score of 3-over-par. Only six of the 84 players competing are under par.

Baylor is in the team lead by one stroke over Georgia Tech, with a team score of 4-over-par. UNC is nine strokes back at +13.

The third, and final, round will be played on Sunday.
