The NCAA released its All-Region baseball teams on Wednesday, with UNC’s Kyle Datres and Michael Busch each earning spots on the Atlantic All-Region rosters.

Teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and encompass a total of eight regions throughout the country.

Datres, the Tar Heels’ standout third baseman, was a First Team selection, while Busch–the hard-hitting first baseman–was named to the Second Team.

Players selected to the First Team in their region become eligible for All-American consideration.

So far this season, Datres is hitting a team-high .344 with six home runs and 34 RBIs. Busch, meanwhile, is second on the team with a .333 batting average while leading the squad with 13 home runs and 63 RBIs.

The duo is set to lead UNC this weekend in its first College World Series appearance since 2013.
