Collegiate Baseball released its NCAA Division I All-American teams on Thursday, with a trio of Tar Heels making the cut.

Starting pitcher JB Bukauskas and shortstop Logan Warmoth–each projected to go in the first round of the upcoming MLB Draft–were both selected as members of the 17-player First Team All-American roster.

The ACC Pitcher of the Year this season, Bukauskas has posted a 9-0 record with a 2.02 ERA and 111 strikeouts heading into UNC’s NCAA Tournament run.

Warmoth, meanwhile, has spearheaded a powerful Tar Heel offense by leading the team in batting average (.349), slugging percentage (.569), hits (89), runs (59), doubles (19), triples (5) and home runs (9).

Centerfielder Brian Miller also earned Third Team All-American honors after having his own fantastic season.

The Raleigh native has played brilliantly on defense in his first year playing centerfield, and has put together a number of career-high offensive statistics–including 16 doubles, seven home runs, 47 RBIs and 22 stolen bases.

UNC rolled to a 47-12 record–and the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament–behind the fantastic production from its All-Americans.

The Tar Heels will begin play in the tournament at Boshamer Stadium against Davidson on Friday night, with first pitch set for 6 p.m.
