A pair of Tar Heels were selected to the All-ACC men’s basketball rosters on Monday, the league announced–as junior forward Garrison Brooks earned a spot on the Second Team, while freshman point guard Cole Anthony was named a Third Team selection.

Brooks has scored at least 20 points in each of UNC’s last six games, becoming the first Tar Heel to accomplish that feat since Tyler Hansbrough did it back in the 2008-09 season. For the year, the Alabama native is averaging 16.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

The junior was also named the ACC’s Most Improved Player.

Anthony, meanwhile, arrived in Chapel Hill as one of the nation’s top recruits and showed plenty of promise before missing 11 games with a torn meniscus. He returned to the lineup last month and has returned to the form he showed early in the season–ending the regular season with averages of 19.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.

Duke sophomore point guard Tre Jones was named the league’s Player of the Year.
