Former UNC safety Myles Wolfolk — who was declared academically ineligible earlier this season — has transferred to Bowie State.
Wolfolk started and made five tackles in UNC’s season-opening win over Syracuse, before being ruled out for the season after falling behind on his graduate work.
He had already completed degrees in sociology and communications prior to being declared ineligible.
After playing in 10 games as a freshman in 2017, Wolfolk appeared in just 10 games combined over the next three seasons largely due to injuries.
For his career at UNC, he posted 61 tackles and five interceptions.
Wolfolk — a Maryland native — is now returning to his home state to join a Bowie State program that won the CIAA championship a year ago.
