Brittany Pickett Named ACC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week

UNC junior Brittany Pickett was selected Tuesday as the ACC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week after helping the Tar Heels to a 4-0 record over the last week–including a three-game sweep over Boston College this past weekend.

In those four games, Pickett posted a 0.76 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched. Prior to her work against Boston College, she helped UNC pick up a huge win over No. 8 Georgia–which came into the game with the top-scoring offense in the country.

This is the second time she has won the ACC’s weekly award this season, and sixth time in her career.
