Baseball America released its All-American rosters on Monday afternoon, with UNC star freshman Aaron Sabato earning a Third Team selection just days after being named to the First Team by Collegiate Baseball magazine.
Sabato set a UNC freshman record with 16 home runs this season and leads the Tar Heels in batting average (.342), hits (77), doubles (25), RBIs (60), total bases (152) and slugging percentage (.676).
The native of Rye Brook, New York also became the seventh UNC player to be named ACC Freshman of the Year.
