The UNC men’s golf team is one of six No. 1 seeds in the 2024 NCAA Championship and will host a 13-team regional at Finley Golf Club from May 13 through May 15.

The Tar Heels are the reigning ACC champions and have won a school-record-tying seven tournaments this season. Other notable teams joining them in the regional are No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Georgia Tech, No. 4 East Tennessee State, No. 5 Northwestern and No. 10 Clemson. The top five teams after three rounds of stroke play in the regional – along with the lowest individual from a non-advancing team – will advance to the NCAA Championship in Carlsbad, CA later in the month. Carolina has advanced out of each of its last six regionals.

UNC is seeking its first national title in program history, having placed fifth, fifth and third in each of the last three NCAA Championships. Fifth-year senior Dylan Menante won a national championship at Pepperdine in 2021 before transferring to Carolina, while Austin Greaser won individual honors at the 2022 NCAA Yale Regional.

Spectator admission for regional action at Finley Golf Club is free.
