If you’re a photographer, the Department of Environment, Agriculture, and Parks are holding a photography contest. Explore Orange County and take pictures of the beautiful nature we have around us. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision to overturn the segregation of schools. This Saturday, Carolina Public Humanities will be holding a seminar that discusses the legacy of Brown vs. Board of Education and discussing what has changed in our education system and what has stayed the same.
