The UNC football team will come out of the bye week with its toughest road test of the year: a visit to No. 11 Notre Dame Saturday night. It’s Carolina’s first visit to Notre Dame Stadium since a 50-43 defeat to the Fighting Irish in 2014. UNC also lost to Notre Dame in Chapel Hill last season, and have only beaten the Irish once in 20 tries all-time. Head coach Mack Brown and the Tar Heels will try to change that in front of a national television audience.

If you aren’t making the pilgrimage to South Bend for the game, here’s how to follow along from home:

Broadcast Schedule

Those hoping to listen on the radio with Jones Angell on the call can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM, or by streaming the radio broadcast on Chapelboro.com.

97.9 the Hill’s radio coverage of the game will begin at 4:30 p.m. with Inside Carolina Live.

At 6:30 p.m., the broadcast will shift over to Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network for their pregame coverage until kickoff. They will also carry postgame coverage for approximately an hour after the conclusion of the game. After that, the broadcast moves back to 97.9 The Hill’s studios, where veteran sports radio personalities Paul Connell and Andy Chacos will host their hour-long analysis show, “On the Heels.”

All of these broadcasts will be available live on the radio or by streaming on Chapelboro.com.

TV Schedule

Television coverage of the game begins at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBC. WRAL is the Triangle’s local NBC affiliate. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T, Dish and DirectTV all carry WRAL and NBC.

What if I don’t have cable?

NBC’s live-stream is available on its website here. You must enter your TV or streaming provider to access WRAL or other local affiliates on this site.

Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry NBC.

Peacock, which is NBC’s exclusive streaming platform, includes a basic package for free. This free package includes sports, but has commercials. A premium Peacock package is $5/month, while the ad-free version is $10/month.

YouTube TV prices at $65/month and carries NBC and several NBC Universal networks, such as NBC Sports Network and Golf Channel.

Hulu TV also goes for $65/month and includes NBC and the NBC Universal family.

Sling TV is $35/month for the Blue package, which includes NBC in select markets, according to its website. However, this package does not include ESPN. The Orange + Blue package, which includes both, is $50/month.
