The No. 21 Tar Heels are back on the road again for the first time in three weeks, as they’ll travel down to Atlanta to face off with Georgia Tech inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Road games against the Yellow Jackets aren’t generally kind to Carolina, as they are just 9-19 historically in those matchups. But head coach Mack Brown still wants UNC fans to pack the house.

“I think Atlanta’s our second-biggest alumni base outside of the state of North Carolina,” Brown said on “Mondays With Mack,” his weekly radio appearance on 97.9 The Hill. “So we need all those folks in Atlanta to show up to try to help us on Saturday night.”

If you can’t make the trip down Interstate 85 to cheer on the Tar Heels, here’s how you can follow along with the game at home.

Broadcast Schedule

Those hoping to listen on the radio with Jones Angell on the call can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM, or by streaming the radio broadcast on Chapelboro.com.

97.9 the Hill’s radio coverage of the game will begin at 4:30 p.m. with Inside Carolina Live, hosted by Joey Powell and Tommy Ashley.

At 6:30 p.m., the broadcast will shift over to Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network for their pregame coverage until kickoff. They will also carry postgame coverage for approximately an hour after the conclusion of the game. After that, the broadcast moves to Old East Tavern, where veteran sports radio personalities Paul Connell and Andy Chacos will host their hour-long analysis show “On the Heels.”

All of these broadcasts will be available live on the radio or by streaming on Chapelboro.com.

TV Schedule

Television coverage of the game begins at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T, Dish and DirectTV all carry ESPN and the ACC Network.

What if I don’t have cable?

A live stream will be available on ESPN’s digital platforms.

Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry ESPN and the ACC Network.

YouTube TV prices at $65/month and carries all of ESPN’s channels (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc.) as well as the ACC Network.

Hulu TV also goes for $65/month and includes all ESPN channels, but does not carry MLB Network, NBA TV or NFL Red Zone.

Sling TV is the cheapest at $46/month for the Orange + Sports Extra package. Make sure to avoid Sling Blue, as that package does not carry ESPN.
