The UNC football team rose two spots to No. 15 in Sunday’s latest AP Poll. Carolina is up two spots from its No. 17 ranking last week.

UNC is joined by four other ACC schools in the poll: No. 5 Florida State, No. 17 Duke and No. 18 Miami. Louisville and Clemson also received votes but were not ranked. Syracuse – Carolina’s next opponent after the bye week – received no votes despite its 4-0 record. For a full look at the AP Poll, click here.

Carolina is 4-0 for the first time since 1997 following its 41-24 win at Pittsburgh, and UNC will face both the Blue Devils and the Hurricanes in Kenan Stadium before the end of the season. The Tar Heels will not face the Seminoles in the regular season.

Carolina will be back in action on Saturday, October 7 when it hosts the Orange in Kenan Stadium. It will be Syracuse’s first visit to Chapel Hill since the 2020 season, when the game was played without fans in the stands. A kickoff time and broadcast information will be announced on Monday.
