Taking part in his first-ever NBA Three-Point Contest on Saturday night in Charlotte as part of the league’s All-Star Weekend festivities, former UNC guard Danny Green wasn’t quite able to pull out the victory, but he did not disappoint either–ending the 10-player competition in a tie for fourth place.

The current Toronto Raptor posted a first-round performance of 23 points out of a possible 34, and tied with last year’s winner Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns.

Qualifying for the second–and final–round requires a player to finish among the top three.

Green was also wearing UNC-themed socks during the event.

Brooklyn Nets’ guard Joe Harris took home the trophy after posting 25 points in the first round and 26 in the second.

Harris outlasted Charlotte native Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, widely viewed as the greatest shooter to ever live, when Curry ended with a final round score of 24 after recording the best first round score of 27.

Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield joined Harris and Curry in the finals after a first-round score of 26. He tallied 19 in the finals.
