The ACC released its women’s basketball weekly honors on Monday, with UNC forward Janelle Bailey recognized as the league’s Co-Rookie of the Week alongside Boston College guard Milan Bolden-Morris.

It’s the sixth time this season Bailey has earned the award this season, as the 6-foot-4-inch native of Matthews, North Carolina has proven she will be a force in head coach Sylvia Hatchell’s frontcourt for years to come.

Although the Tar Heels have lost five consecutive games as a team, Bailey posted a pair of double-doubles last week in losses to Virginia Tech and NC State.

Against the Hokies, she scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds–while Saturday’s game in Raleigh saw her tally 13 points and 10 rebounds despite battling foul trouble early in the game.

This week will see Bailey and UNC travel to face Georgia Tech on Thursday before hosting No. 4 Louisville at home on Sunday.
