A Winter Weather Advisory is continuing for our community in the aftermath of the latest winter storm that has left several inches snow across our community and roads in hazardous conditions.
The lingering effects of the storm have prompted closings and delays that now stretch into Friday, January 19.
Alamance – Burlington Schools will be closed for students and staff Friday, January 19.
Chapel Hill – Carrboro City Schools will be closed for students and staff Friday, January 19.
Chatham County Schools will be closed for students and staff Friday, January 19.
Durham Public Schools will be closed for students Friday, January 19.
Orange County Schools will be closed for students Friday, January 19.
St. Thomas More Catholic School will be closed for faculty and students Friday, January 19.
Durham Tech campuses will be closed until Monday, January 22.
Duke University has canceled classes before 10 a.m. Friday, January 19.
UNC will operate on Condition 2, which means classes are canceled, until noon Friday, January 19.
Chapel Hill Transit will operate on a modified schedule beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, January 19.
Chatham County government offices will reopen at 11 a.m. Friday, January 19.
Chatham County Courts will be closed Friday, January 19.
Durham County government offices will open at 11 a.m. Friday, January 19.
Orange County government offices will open at 11 a.m. Friday, January 19.
Orange County Courts will be closed Friday, January 19.
Carolina Dialysis in Carrboro will open on a delay at 9 a.m. Friday, January 19.
