A total of 21 graduate programs at UNC were ranked among the top 10 in the country in their respective categories by U.S. News & World Report.

The Gillings School of Global Public Health led the way, coming in second out of 206 schools and programs of public health nationwide. It’s the sixth consecutive rankings period in which the Gillings School has ranked second.

“The Gillings School has been ranked among the top schools and programs of public health by U.S. News since the magazine first ranked public health schools in 1987,” a release from UNC said.

Twenty-six programs in all increased their placements from the previous rankings, including the Schools of Medicine (seventh in primary care and 26th in research) and Nursing (10th in Master’s programs and 15th in DNP), the College of Arts and Sciences (16th), the School of Education (21st) and the Kenan-Flagler Business School (22nd).
