Authorities are asking for help from the public locating a missing 84-year-old Orange County man.
Theodore Roosevelt Parrish was reported missing by a family member shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday. A release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that Parrish suffers from dementia and a traumatic brain injury.
Parrish reportedly left his home on Running Green Road at 7 a.m. Tuesday and spoke with a friend, “informing her of his plan to travel to Boston, Massachusetts.”
Authorities said that his last known location is Virginia and that Parrish has been entered into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center.
Parrish could be driving a white 2002 Chevy Silverado with North Carolina registration VJ74616, according to law enforcement.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Parrish are asked to contact Investigator Zach Baldwin of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at (919) 357-4847.
