UPDATE: Chapel Hill Police shared an alert on Sunday afternoon saying Jessica Putnam was safely located at 4:45 p.m.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person on Sunday.
A release from the department around 1:30 a.m. said a missing persons report was filed for Jessica Marie Putnam, a 37-year-old Chapel Hill resident. Putnam was last seen on Thursday, June 1 around 9:30 p.m. in the area of 201 South Elliott Road.
Police described Putnam as 5-foot-4 and weighing around 110 pounds. She has brown, waist-length hair and has “multiple piercings in both ears,” according to Sunday’s release.
Chapel Hill Police requested anyone with information about Putnam’s whereabouts or wellbeing call 911 or contact the department directly at 919-968-2760.
