UPDATE: Chapel Hill Police shared an update at 6:31 p.m. on Tuesday that Nancy Paola Cartagena Buezo was safely located.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the community for help in finding a teenager reported missing on Monday night.
A release shared just before midnight said it is seeking Chapel Hill resident Nancy Paola Cartagena Buezo, who was reported missing after last being seen around 10 p.m. Police said she was last seen in the area of Bolin Heights Terrace, which is off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Chapel Hill Police said Buezo is 5-foot-5, weighs around 120 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with white lettering and blue jeans. The alert said she is not believed to be in danger.
Police encourage anyone who has details on Nancy Paola Cartagena Buezo’s whereabouts and wellbeing to call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department directly (919-968-2760).
