Chapel Hill Police have made multiple arrests following reports of a robbery on Tuesday.

Authorities say officers responded to a robbery on Fountain Ridge Road around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon and subsequently located the suspect vehicle on the 15-501 thoroughfare. The vehicle then fled the scene, according to police, and Durham authorities later located and arrested four suspects.

Israel Njuguna and Curtis Kent Powell, both of Durham, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of stolen motor vehicle. Additional charges are pending against two 14-year-old juveniles involved, according to police.

Njuguna and Powell were being held in the Durham County Jail as of last update with each set for a first appearance on Monday morning.
