A Chapel Hill Police spokesman confirmed that 56-year-old Stephen Daniel Taylor, of Chapel Hill, was killed when he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday night.
Police officials said the collision was on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard at Westminster Drive near the intersection with Weaver Dairy Road. Authorities say the wreck was reported around 9:30 p.m.
The wreck was still under investigation as of Friday and there is no word on any potential charges.
