A months-long investigation has resulted in two Chatham County residents being arrested on drug charges.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of 56-year-old Michael Anthony-Maurice Johnson and 39-year-old Kyuana Reaves, both of Goldston, were charged “with a string of felonies after a search of their residence uncovered collections of methamphetamines, crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, various drug paraphernalia and a firearm.”

Officials from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office said deputies began investigation after receiving a tip that illegal drug sales were taking place on the property.

Johnson and Reaves are facing the same 11 felonies and six misdemeanor charges.

Both are scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in late September. Johnson is being held on a $250,000 secured bond while Reaves was given a $150,000 secured bond, as of last update.
