Chapel Hill Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a bank robbery on Thursday.

Authorities say police were dispatched to a robbery at the PNC Bank at 101 East Rosemary Street around noon on Thursday. Two suspects were on foot in the area and arrested within 20 minutes, police said.

Police said 39-year-old Shannon Linford McCormick and 58-year-old Thomas Len Filter, both of Chapel Hill, were arrested and charged in the incident.

McCormick was charged with common law robbery and given a $20,000 secured bond. Filter was charged with accessory after the fact and felony possession of stolen goods and received a $15,000 secured bond.
