Hog Day has finally returned. Following its cancellation back in January after running for over 30 years, Orange County residents have succeeded in making efforts to bring this festival back to the community.
Dozens of talented local musicians will commemorate the event by hosting the “Fab Four at Fifty” the same evening (2/9) at the Cat’s Craddle in Carrboro.
Hillsborough Hogg Day, which was Orange County’s largest festival incorporating food, music and other activities, would have celebrated its 32nd anniversary this year.
A forecast of a 100-percent chance of rain didn’t keep too many people away, and the rains nearly held off long enough for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday parade Saturday morning.
