UNC and women’s golf head coach Aimee Neff have agreed on a three-year contract extension which will keep her in Chapel Hill through the 2026-27 season. Neff’s program is coming off its first NCAA Championship appearance since 2017.

“Aimee has our women’s golf program on a great trajectory both competitively and in the classroom,” said UNC athletic director Bubba Cunningham. “We look forward to watching this program continue to achieve under her leadership.”

Carolina won three tournaments during the 2023-24 season – its most in a single season since 2012-13 – and advanced to the match-play semifinals at the ACC Championship. Academically, the team’s grade point average was the highest among all 28 UNC varsity sports programs.

“I’m deeply grateful to Bubba and the Board of Trustees for their belief in and support of Carolina women’s golf,” Neff said. ” I am excited to build upon our achievements over the past few years and eagerly anticipate a bright future ahead. Our student-athletes are fantastic people and I cherish the opportunity to lead them.”
