Although saying the UNC football team didn’t quite make the cut for the College Football Playoff would be quite the understatement, head coach Larry Fedora will be a part of the festivities.
Fedora will take part in the ESPN Coaches Film Room telecast–an alternate way to view Monday’s national semifinal games.
The telecast will be broadcast on ESPNEWS the ESPN App, and features in-depth analysis of the games from a group consisting of five Division I head coaches.
Dino Babers (Syracuse), Dana Holgorson (West Virginia), Gary Patterson (TCU) and former Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema will each join Fedora in talking some hardcore football all night long.
It is the second time in the past three seasons Fedora has taken part in this event, having also participated during the 2016 College Football Playoff Title Game.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 3-9 campaign in 2017. However, in six seasons at UNC, Fedora has amassed a 43-34 record–ranking him fifth in school history.
