After taking the weekend off from an ACC series thanks to final exams, the UNC baseball team held its spot at No. 3 in the most recent D1Baseball.com Top 25.
The Tar Heels (37-9) played just one game this past week, a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over the Richmond Spiders.
Head coach Mike Fox and company are ranked behind No. 1 Oregon State and No. 2 Louisville once again–with Texas Tech and Florida rounding out the top five.
Other ACC teams ranked include: No. 8 Clemson, No. 13 Virginia and No. 21 Wake Forest.
Only the SEC–which has six schools among the top 25–has more than the ACC’s five.
UNC will return to action this week with home games against Davidson and UNC-Asheville on Tuesday and Wednesday–before traveling to face Virginia Tech in a three-game series over the weekend.
