The UNC women’s basketball team held its annual postseason awards banquet over the weekend, with junior guard Paris Kea taking home the team’s overall champion honor for the second consecutive year.

Over the course of the season, the coaching staff keeps a cumulative list of statistics and assigns points to players based on those numbers–which is how Kea was determined as the winner.

Although the Tar Heels struggled to a 15-16 record, Kea earned First Team All-ACC honors after averaging 19.4 points and 4.8 assists per game.

The North Carolina native–who transferred to UNC after playing one year at Vanderbilt–also earned UNC’s strength and conditioning award at the banquet and was recognized as the team’s best offensive player.
