Chapel Hill Police have arrested a Pittsboro man in connection with a robbery from late February.
Police arrested 57-year-old Michael Farrar after the Food Lion in Timberlyne Shopping Center was robbed on February 27. Authorities said at the time that the suspect “grabbed the cash register and fought with the clerk before running out of the store.”
Farrar has been charged with one felony count of common law robbery and is being held in the Orange County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
