Orange County law enforcement officials are investigating an armed robbery off of Eno Mountain Road.

Officials said on Monday that the victim reported he heard a cry for help coming from the state park trails while he was walking down Eno Mountain Road. The victim then was robbed at gun point by a black male wearing khaki pants and a brown sweater, according to a release.

The suspect stole the victim’s backpack, including his laptop and charger and his wallet.

Authorities say the suspect fled toward Orange Grove Road in a white sedan.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
