Orange County authorities have arrested a man on child sex offense charges related to incidents alleged to have occurred in Tennessee and in Hillsborough.

Curtis Alan Sisk was arrested following a three-month investigation that was conducted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Sevierville Police Department in Tennessee, according to a Friday afternoon press release.

The sexual assaults are alleged to have taken place between March 2003 and September 2010 across each state and authorities say multiple victims are reporting abuse.

“All accusations of sexual abuse are concerning; however, when they involve children victims, it is particularly heart wrenching,” Orange County Sheriff Charles Blackwood said in a release. “I commend the victims for their bravery in coming forward to report these crimes.”

The Sheriff’s Office also noted in the release that resources are available in Orange County for sexual assault victims, including the Orange County Rape Crisis Center.

Sisk was arrested on January 12, 2018, and charged with indecent liberties with a child. He was subsequently released after posting a $29,500 secured bond, according to law enforcement. He was assigned a $100,000 unsecured bond on Thursday after he was charged with first-degree sex offense with a child and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Sisk is scheduled to appear in court on February 23.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
