Affordable housing is an ongoing challenge across Orange County. Recent discussions have focused on the possibility that some mobile home parks across Chapel Hill and Orange County could be redeveloped in the future.

EmPOWERment executive director Delores Bailey, Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger and Orange County Commissioner Penny Rich weighed in on how local government can help in these situations and its responsibility to property owners and residents.
