Climate change has been a political topic for years, but what has been or can be done at the local level to make an impact? Members of governing bodies in Orange County are working on a joint committee now to work on that answer.
Orange County Commissioner Mark Marcoplos, Chapel Hill Town Councilmember Rachel Schaevitz, Carrboro Alderman Sammy Slade and Hillsborough Commissioner Jenn Weaver are all on the newly formed committee and spoke with WCHL about their current efforts and the goals of the committee.
