On the twelfth edition of “Inside Voices,” join host Kevin “Kaze” Thomas in a special one-man episode as he takes a moment to speak on our current moment, and how history and current happenings relate to the experience of being Black in America. The intersection of race, identity and creativity has inspired a new project from Kaze, titled “A Thousand Shades of Black.

“Thanks for tuning in to our ongoing conversation around race, social justice, inequality and everything going on in this current moment that’s been going on in the history of our African-American experience here in America, and our broader American experience of how we relate to each other. This moment is what’s so important, and the conversation that I want to have with you all today is around race and identity and creativity — and this stems around for those of you that don’t know: I am an artist, a musician and a creative — and I have a new project that is coming out this Saturday. It’s called ‘A Thousand Shades of Black,’ and I want to talk about what that means and why I chose that title and how it relates to our conversation that I want to have here today.”

Listen below for the full episode, and check back next week for a new installment of “Inside Voices” on 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com.
