Carrboro Police have taken to social media to call for help in locating a lost dog.
The police department tweeted out yesterday that a dog had run away from a home on Old NC 86 near Hillsborough Road. Anyone who has seen him is asked to contact his owner, Arianna.
Orange County Animal Services runs a Twitter account (@OCNCLostPets) dedicated to tweeting out the lost animals that find their way to the shelter. So far, it appears as if there have not been any matches.
With the temperatures expected to dip into the 30’s this weekend with a chance for snow, this is a dangerous time for pets to be outside.
