UPDATE: The Carrboro Police Department shared a release at 9:15 p.m. Thursday night saying Maree Ravellette has been safely located and is being medically evaluated.
The Carrboro Police Department is asking for your help as they search for a missing woman.
83-year-old Maree Ravellette was last seen at her residence on Tuesday, October 21, at about 10:30 p.m. Ravellette is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighs about 100 pounds; she was last seen waring a white shirt, gray pajama pants, and a blue denim jacket.

Ravellette is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment. She left her residence on foot, though she’s also known to take Chapel Hill Transit.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for Ravellette. Call 911 if you have any information about her whereabouts. You can also contact Investigator Armstrong with Carrboro Police, by phone at 919-918-7417 or by email at jarmstrong@carrboronc.gov.
