This week’s Adopt-A-Pet, presented by Houndswood Village, is Julius from Independent Animal Rescue!

Julius is a medium hair orange tabby with orange eyes and a very expressive face!It took him longer than most, but Julius is now loving getting human attention. For five weeks, he would play with his foster siblings, but avoid all human contact.

Now he rolls over to get his belly rubbed! He has been around a large dog regularly and a toddler and did not seem at all bothered by the sudden moves and noises. He adores his foster siblings and would love to be adopted with his sister CoCo.

Because Julius II is younger than 6 months of age, it is Independent Animal Rescue’s policy that he must be adopted with another kitten or into a household with a young cat (general guideline of 2 years or younger but on a case by case basis).
