This week’s Adopt-A-Pet, presented by Houndswood Village, is Queenie from the Goathouse Refuge!
Queenie is a solid black female with one white locket dot at her neck. She came to the refuge from a county animal control shelter with her seven black kittens, named for the Seven Dwarfs: Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, Dopey, and Doc.
Once she is done with her mom duties, Queenie would make someone a wonderful kitty companion, as she is already very affectionate and friendly!
On Wednesday, August 26, Houndswood Village is hosting a special event to celebrate National Dog Day! Stop by their complex from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. for the grand opening of their Hounds Wash station, complete with all the amenities you need to keep your furry friend clean.
Adopt-A-Pet is presented by the Houndswood Village apartments in Durham, where you can live with your furry friends in three or four-bedroom, energy-efficient townhomes. Visit Houndswood Village’s website to learn more about their location and get started on an application today.
