As the second-ranked UNC women’s tennis team put the finishing touches on a 5-2 road victory at Boston College in Friday’s ACC opener, head coach Brian Kalbas also earned his 400th career victory in 16 seasons leading the Tar Heels.

UNC improved to 12-1 this season (1-0 ACC) with the victory, while Boston College dropped to 9-2 with an 0-2 record in conference play.

The Tar Heels started the match strong by winning the doubles point, before receiving singles victories from Alexa Graham (6-4, 6-2), Cameron Morra (6-3, 6-1), Alle Sanford (6-3, 6-2) and Jessie Aney (6-2, 6-2) to clinch the overall team win.
