With rain cancelling Sunday’s third–and final–round of the Mason Rudolph Invitational at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, the UNC women’s golf team finished the tournament in seventh place at 12-over-par.
Kelly Whaley will leave Tennessee as one of just two Tar Heels to finish below par, as her score of 4-under-par was good enough for fourth on the overall individual leaderboard.
Right behind Whaley was Jennifer Zhou at 3-under-par. Zhou finished in a tie for seventh place.
Playing on its home course, Vanderbilt took home the team title with a score of 17-under-par. The Commodores were led by individual tournament winner Abbey Carlson, who ended the tournament at 12-under-par.
