For the first time in over a month, the UNC baseball team has made a return to the D1Baseball.com Top 25.
The Tar Heels made their return to the poll Monday in the No. 21 ranking, having won 12 of their last 15 games overall after starting the year 7-7.
Defending national champion Florida held onto the No. 1 spot in the poll, while Stanford, Arkansas, NC State and Ole Miss make up the rest of the top five.
Other teams in the top 10 include: No. 6 Texas Tech, No. 7 East Carolina, No. 8 Kentucky, No. 9 Oregon State and No. 10 Indiana.
The ACC has a total of five ranked teams this week, with No. 11 Clemson, No. 12 Florida State and No. 14 Duke joining UNC and NC State among the mix.
UNC is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, when its hosts Appalachian State at Boshamer Stadium. First pitch for that game is set for 6 p.m.
