UNC men’s basketball is headed to the 2022 NCAA Tournament’s Final Four after winning big over Saint Peter’s on Sunday afternoon, 69-49.
Just like after their win in the Sweet 16, social media was abuzz with excitement over the victory and UNC’s first Final Four trip since 2017. Following the trophy ceremony and cutting of the nets, several members of the New Orleans-bound team hopped onto Twitter and Instagram to share their thoughts.

Former UNC players, and former head coach Roy Williams, also let their thoughts be known on social media or to reporters at the game in Philadelphia.

The win also means history will be made next Saturday: UNC and Duke will meet in the NCAA Tournament for the first time, with a trip to the national title game on the line.
Some Carolina fans, though, had mixed emotions about facing their arch rivals for a third time in Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final season.
