After posting a round of even par on Sunday afternoon at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, the UNC men’s golf team ended atop the overall leaderboard at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate to finish off its first tournament victory of the season.
The Tar Heels finished with an overall team score of 1-under-par to win their home tournament for the second consecutive season.
On the individual side of things, Austin Hitt was UNC’s top performer–completing the three-round event with a score of 3-under-par to take home second place.
