Head coach Roy Williams landed yet another commitment for his Tar Heels next season on Friday, with the announcement that graduate transfer Christian Keeling will play out his final season of eligibility in Carolina blue.
Keeling–a 6-foot-4-inch combo guard–had been at Charleston Southern, where he averaged 18.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last season and shot 38 percent from three-point range.
He chose UNC over a group of finalists that included NC State, Purdue, Georgia Tech and Clemson.
This news also comes less than a week after the Tar Heels secured commitments from highly touted freshmen guards Cole Anthony and Anthony Harris–completing the team’s backcourt for next season.
