After suffering a bitter loss at Cameron Indoor Stadium against Duke this past week, UNC fell from No. 8 to No. 10 in the most recent AP Top 25 released on Monday.

The Tar Heels (21-5, 9-3) remain at the top of the ACC standings, however, holding a half-game lead over No. 17 Florida State.

Undefeated Gonzaga continues to hold the top spot in the poll, with Villanova, Kansas, Baylor and Arizona making up the rest of the top five.

Duke moved up to No. 12 this week, winning two straight games after the return of head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

At No. 8, Louisville is the highest ranked ACC school–but the Cardinals are tied with Duke and No. 14 Virginia at 8-4 in conference play, one game behind the Tar Heels.

Notre Dame–which is ranked No. 20–gives the league six ranked teams this week, again more than any other conference in the nation.

Following a road battle with NC State on Wednesday, UNC will begin a five-game stretch that includes four potential top 25 matchups–two games against Virginia, one against Louisville and the revenge matchup against Duke.
