Pro Football Focus released its NCAA Team of the Week on Monday, with a pair of UNC offensive tackles making the cut after the Tar Heels’ 49-26 win over the visiting Western Carolina Catamounts.
Juniors William Sweet and Charlie Heck each earned a spot on the team after posting the best grades among all offensive tackles in the country.
Sweet’s grade of 89.9 was tops among his position, and his run-blocking grade of 86.6 was nation’s best this week regardless of position.
Heck, meanwhile, posted a grade of 89.0 with a run-blocking grade of 85.6. He also did not allow a pressure on 23 snaps of pass protection and was not penalized once.
With Sweet and Heck paving the way, UNC posted a season-high 654 yards of total offense against Western Carolina.
