With heavy rains forecasted in the Chapel Hill area all day long, Tuesday night’s baseball game at Boshamer Stadium between the 10th-ranked Tar Heels and No. 18 Coastal Carolina has been canceled.

No make-up date has been decided upon, but Wednesday’s home game against Western Carolina remains scheduled for 6 p.m.

Tuesday was also supposed to be “Bark at the Bosh” night, a promotion allowing fans to bring their dogs to the ballpark. As a result of the game’s cancellation, that promotion has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 17–the series opener against Virginia Tech.
