With Sunday serving as the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the NBA Draft, Scout.com reported late in the evening that UNC freshman forward Tony Bradley is putting his name into the mix.

The 6-foot-10 native of Bartow, Florida–a player who possesses a prized NBA commodity with his 7-foot-4-inch wingspan–is projected to be a first round pick, but he is leaving the door open to a return by not initially signing with an agent.

A McDonald’s All-American as a high school senior, Bradley averaged 7.1 points and 5.1 rebounds off the bench for the Tar Heels this season.

Should Bradley come back to Chapel Hill after testing the draft waters, he would likely start in the frontcourt next season alongside Luke Maye.

His departure, on the other hand, would open up the door for incoming freshmen Garrison Brooks, Brandon Huffman and Sterling Manley to compete for a starting role.

Inside Carolina reported earlier this week that head coach Roy Williams and assistant Steve Robinson met with William and Mary graduate transfer Jack Whitman–a 6-foot-9, 235 pound forward who would be eligible to play immediately.

UNC fans have also been anxiously awaiting the draft decision for junior point guard Joel Berry, but his plans have not been announced yet.
