UNC junior Natalie Chandler was announced Thursday as the winner of this year’s NCAA Elite 90 Award for women’s soccer, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s championships.

Chandler has a perfect 4.0 GPA as a health policy and management major, making her the the fourth UNC women’s soccer player to ever win the award–and first since Frances Reuland in 2016.

The Tar Heels also claimed an Elite 90 Award in field hockey recently, which was won by Abby Pitcairn.
