In its first home match in nearly a month, the 11th-ranked UNC men’s tennis team returned to the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in a big way–earning a 4-1 victory over the No. 20 Oklahoma Sooners.
After winning the doubles point to begin the match, the Tar Heels quickly went up 3-0 with singles victories in straight sets from Blaine Boyden (6-3, 6-0) and Mac Kiger (6-4, 6-4).
The Sooners battled back with a three-set win to make the team score 3-1, but UNC closed the match for good with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win from Josh Peck on Court Three.

UNC will remain in Chapel Hill for its next match on Sunday against Miami, which is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
